Surprisingly smart tele converter

Conversion lenses have continuously had a poor name. usually generalizations like fuzzy, corner falloff and thus on. The Panasonic DMW-LT55 Tele Conversion Lens seems to be the exception. Mounted on a Lumix FZ50, it produces pictures that are sharper than expected. Not as sharp as those who would be made by a Nikkor or Canon, however sharp and detailed enough.
there's no noticeable falloff at the perimeters or corners. No vignetting either. distinction is great.
On the FZ50, the LT55 may be used handheld with the camera's Optical Image Stabilization system activated. That is, frankly, astonishing.
A neat trick on the FZ50 is having the ability to cut back the resolution of the image from ten megapixels right down to three megapixels (just using the middle of the sensor) and effectively increasing the ability of the tele converter to that of a one,137 mm lens. the photographs are not dangerous.
The converter is lighweight and simply connected to the FZ50. Any filter on the lens should be removed 1st. No adapter is needed.
Overall, the FZ50 could be a nice knockaround and travel camera. It's light, has a fantastic 12x Leica style approved lens, a ten Megapixel sensor and around each feature you'll need. Adding the LT55 to your kit offers you that extra-long telephoto you've got continuously needed to hold while not doing harm to your back. Neat product.
