A bit slippery

This is the stock lens cap on the Lumix 14-45mm lens, that is where I've used it. It fits snugly however the pinch tabs within the middle are oriented at a 90-degree angle to the plane of the lens, and are fabricated from swish plastic. which means that if your fingers are the smallest amount bit slippery or oily, you will generally notice the cap flying out from between your fingers with spring-loaded force as you squeeze it. If they'd place alittle flange on the surface fringe of the tabs or angled the tabs slightly such that the fingers would slip toward the rear of the cap, this could rate five stars, however it's gone flying into my lens hood many too over and over on behalf of me to advocate it.
